Hairy fats and Hillary Clinton’s legs

posted in Pop Culture |

I’m often curious as to how some non-FA people find their way to this site. And reviewing the search keyphrases that lead people here are always good for a laugh.

I’ve discovered that there are people actually interested in “Hillary Clinton’s legs,” and others who want to see her naked. In fact, nudity photo searches run the gamut, from people looking for “Mena Suvari ass pics” to others interested in “old fat naked women.” And a few people were probably plenty disappointed to find no “bountiful breasts” on this site, along with those searching out “big fat bbw porn.”

I had to chuckle at the person looking for “are fat people to [sic] dumb?” and I can only imagine the desperation behind the search phrase “jaegermeister helping women lower their standards.” And please, tell me that “anderson cooper is gay” isn’t true, cause I’m totally crushing on him.

I’m constantly uplifted at the numbers of folks looking for *insert popular diet name here,* who stumble instead on this site, as well as the folks looking for the latest celebrity to be accused of an eating disorder. I hope that the site, which is staunchly anti-diet, gives them some food for thought (no pun intended). And, the numbers of people searching out information on fat pride or the myriad of ways in which fat people are discriminated against are always positive.

Yet, as comical as seeing “hairy fats” and ‘fatties eating pizza pictures” search phrases always are, I’m always dismayed to see the amount of people looking for ways to reinforce and “improve” upon their eating disorders. And especially, people who search out “pro ana punishments for thinking of food.” It is reassuring to know, however, that they find my site amongst the multiplicity of pro-ana and pro-mia sites.

I’ve heard the rumors about the divine Mr. Cooper. I’m in denial though.

I just wanted to let you know how I stumbled across this site, because I’ve been browsing it now for over an hour and I see nothing but positive messages all over.
Im a 19 year old college student, majoring in Graphic design and for my final project we were told to research any topic of interest to us, as long as it is somewhat controversial.
I chose how Hollywood, and the ever popular skeletal waif trend has set an unrealistic image of what beautiful really is.

I, being 5′6 and 135 lbs- sometimes still feel I do not measure up compared to what society finds pretty or good enough. This is why I chose this topic, because I know that is the wrong way to think, and not only it is a self destructive way of thinking. Im so happy to know that there are people out there like the readrs of this site who embrace women with cuves, and see the damage that the media’s portrayal of beauty is doing to young girls all around the world.

I am really happy i found this site, and I think everyone on here is amazing and should be proud of themselves no matter weight, height, eye, hair color. Anything. We are all equal in the end.

Any fyi- I beleive I googled “Hollywood-Influenced Weight Trends”
